I became a member of De Vishal last year, and I am very happy with the amount of exhibitions I’ve been offered to participate in. This is the exhibitions for members of De Vishal which is an artist-driven art space in Haarlem. I can warmly recommend anyone to apply to become a member. Twice a year members can submit an idea for an exhibition they would like to make.

Sub-Surface Survey, Land Art in the City, Almere
with Joakim Derlow
September 7
Together, Olle Stjerne and Joakim Derlow participated in the art route Land Art in the City, painting and printing with algae (cyano-bacteria) from the lake Weerwater. A one-day art exhibition with many visitors and a wide mix of projects all relating to the history of Land Art in Flevoland, the region in the Netherlands built on land reclaimed from the sea. The Weerwater is the lake in Almere Centrum where the museum Kunstlinie is located, as well as Museum M. Jij bent M is an organisation that keeps the memory of Land Art in Flevoland alive and they organized this one-day art route to promote ephemeral projects related to the landscape.
Upcoming public art work:
In the month of October 2025 my first permanent public art work Driva mot strömmen (Drift against the current) will be installed at Sköndalsskolan in Stockholm.
I have been commissioned by Stockholm Konst and SISAB to create a work for the facade of the new wing of Sköndalsskolan (Cyrillus Johansson, 1953) as well as part of the interior. The new building is designed by Johanna Hallgren at White Arkitekter.
I have worked closely with Storverkstan to make this project a reality and I am looking forward for everyone to see it!
Special thanks to Petter Hellsing who is acting consultant on the project.
More upcoming:
Market Spectre, De Vishal, Haarlem together with Joakim Derlow
Spring 2026
During our 'year of collaboration' Joakim and me have set out to make an immersive, mind-bending exhibition in De Vishal, where I became a member last year. The exhibition ask the question: what if a ghostly presence, a force of nature, a Market Spectre have been guiding our capitalistic age and how this affects us as participants within the system and for us as artists.
